  • 3 1/2 ounces tomato paste
  • 14 ounces tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 10 fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional toppings:
  • 3 1/2 ounces mozzarella, grated
  • 3 button mushrooms
  • 1 spring onion
  • Canned artichokes
  • 2 slices Parma ham

  • METHOD:

    Preheat the oven to 375°F.

For the sauce, sauté the onions in olive oil and add the tomato paste, salt and pepper.
Continue to sauté, then add oregano and deglaze with the tomato puree.
Stir, then add fresh basil and bring to a simmer.

For the pizza, cut the flatbread lengthwise, creating two pizza bases.
Then spread the sauce on it, top it with the ingredients of your choice and bake for 5-8 minutes.
Drizzle with more olive oil and serve.
